HARRISBURG, Pa. — The MITER Foundation, the charitable arm of MITER Brands, a residential window and door manufacturer that produces a portfolio of window and door brands for the new construction and replacement segments with an owner-operated, family-first approach, recently launched its inaugural website to amplify its mission and gain awareness and funding for its various causes.
“We are thrilled to unveil our new website, which will allow us to share the MITER Foundation’s mission with an even broader audience,” said Anthony Kassab, Chair of the MITER Foundation Executive Committee. “This exciting development will help us bring more support to the local communities we cherish and the incredible non-profit organizations we are honored to partner with, expanding our impact like never before.”
The foundation, formed in 2015, was born out of a sense of care and compassion from the MI® Windows and Doors team. Over the years, the MITER Foundation has expanded from local charities to a nationwide presence, partnering with organizations to drive the MITER Brands people-first culture in communities throughout the country.
The new site, which launched on January 15, 2025, provides an introduction to the MITER Foundation with a deeper look at the following:
- Who the MITER Foundation is, the organization’s mission, and the story of its growth.
- Causes: The four primary causes supported by the MITER Foundation include community outreach, heroes support, children’s wellbeing, and cancer support. Through the MITER Foundation, MITER Brands team members have donated food to and volunteered at local food banks, provided windows and doors at no cost for adaptable housing constructed for veterans, volunteered with local children’s hospitals, provided ongoing financial support to children’s cancer research, and more.
- Impact: Since the MITER Foundation started in 2015, the organization has raised $27.8 million for charities, and team members have spent more than 34,000 hours volunteering.
Partners: The MITER Foundation has worked with several partners to make an even bigger difference in the lives of others across the country, including the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, American Humane, Four Diamonds, Homes For Our Troops, No Person Left Behind, Phoenix Children’s Hospital, Ronald McDonald House Charities, Simon’s Heart, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and Woody Williams Foundation.
Additional features on the website allow supporters to donate directly within the site, access the press room to stay up-to-date with what’s going on with the foundation, or request support from their local communities.
